About Graceful Gatherings

 Like many things in life, the path that led Michelle to opening and founding this business was unfolding as she was growing up.  Ever since Michelle was a child, she has always been creative. Whether it was making something for someone in an art class, sewing in Home Ec or drawing, she always found joy in it!  After becoming a mom, being artistically creative went to a whole new level!!  

Back in 2001, Michelle's sister asked for her help in planning her wedding and that's when the love of designing and creating blossomed!  With a passion for planning and styling, Michelle strives to create a unique and memorable experience for each and every bride and groom. What Michelle loves most about her job is the close relationships she builds with her couples through the many months of planning their perfect day!  

Since Michelle has had several years of experience and exposure planning the perfect day for couples, she decided to launch Graceful Gatherings into the wedding industry.  Michelle aspires to cultivate many long-standing relationships within the industry.  Her goal is to make the experience of planning a wedding less stressful, more fun and ultimately to ensure that my couples and their families enjoy their special day as much as their guests.  On a personal note, Michelle has lived in the Garner area for the last 18 years with her husband Mark, their 4 kids - who are spread out from Louisburg to New York and Italy, as well as her 4 grandchildren!  In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, gardening and cooking.
